Analysis of microsensor data

Here is a list of applications that we use for the analysis of microsensor measurements, with a brief description of the type of information that can be extracted.

mpr-plotter

An open source application (written in Scilab) for the analysis of concentration profiles and times-series (Scilab).

  • Includes conversion utilities from different data formats (data produced by the DOMS or the system from Unisense).
  • Implements user-defined signal calibration (very flexible).
  • Allows rapid visualization of measured profiles and time-series.
  • Allows calculation of spatial gradients and fluxes, areal contents and rates of change of analytes.

An open source application (written in Matlab) for the analysis and visualization of concentration profiles (Matlab)

  • You need to have some very basic knowledge of Matlab to be able to run the program efficiently.
  • Implements user-defined signal calibration.
  • Allows rapid visualization of measured profiles (also as a false-color image).
  • Allows interactive alignment of profiles, and extraction of penetration depths.
