MOLLI-server

MOLLI-server adds TCP/IP communication capabilities to the original Look@MOLLI program (written by Bjoern Grunwald) that is used for luminescence-based oxygen imaging.

The instructions how to use the Look@MOLLI program are written in section 1.2 of this manual.

Remote control through TCP/IP

Imaging by MOLLI-server can also be controlled remotely using ASCII commands. Commands can be sent by any client connected to the MOLLI-server through the TCP/IP protocol (e.g., with G-client).

Syntax

  • Each command must end with a semicolon (;)
  • The string of commands must end with \n\r (carriage return + line feed), i.e., the client application must end each command string with \n\r when sending it to the server!

Recognized commands

single image: go Averaging IntegTime hBin vBin ROI.Left ROI.Top ROI.Right ROI.Bottom 1 DeltaEx DeltaI Delta1 Delta2 path_to_output_file.txt;
2-window scheme go Averaging IntegTime hBin vBin ROI.Left ROI.Top ROI.Right ROI.Bottom 1 DeltaEx DeltaI Delta1 Delta2 path_to_output_file.txt;
?; inquire about the status of the MOLLI system
pause N; make a pause of N seconds, doing nothing

Examples

  • To acquire a single image with light on and store it as i:\b4.txt: go 1 110 1 1 1 1 20 15 0 1 i:\b4.txt;\n\r
  • To acquire a 2-window image set and store it as i:\b3.txt: go 1 90 1 1 1 1 15 10 1 20 10 1 0 i:\b3.txt;\n\r
