Workshops

We organize informal workshops to share our knowledge about microsensors and imaging techniques with other scientists, to promote interaction and collaboration, and to inform about the most recent hardware and software developments.

If you are interested in attending our workshops, or know about a group of people that would like to learn about microsensors and imaging techniques through a workshop, please send us an e-mail.

Microsensor workshop

Workshops held so far:

  • 9-11 April 2008
  • 19-21 May 2008
  • 30 September - 2 October 2008
  • 17-19 November 2009
  • 19th January 2010 (1 day only, 9:00-13:00, dedicated to Microsensor group TA's)
  • 26th May - 7th June 2010 (Microsensor workshop for the BioAcid project)
  • Aug 2010 (Microsensor workshop for the SenseNet project)

Next workshop:

  • not scheduled at present.

Typical schedule:

  • Day 1: Focus on microsensor measurement (hardware: lab setup, DOMS; software: m-Profiler, LINPOS-server, DAQ-server, Spectra-m-Profiler)
  • Day 2: Focus on data analysis (basic theory; software tools: mprplotter, L@MP, calfluxrate)
  • Day 3: Focus on advanced topics such as design and control of complex experiments (general concepts; G-client).
